Why Ed Taylor is Santa Ed ?

I love putting smiles on faces and I love the
spirit of Christmas, the spirit of reaching out,
the spirit of thinking of others and then taking
it a step further and touching them with a gift
or a greeting.

For me Santa Claus represents love, hope and
charity for all people. Santa transcends
collectives of all kinds.

I truly believe we are all moved to reach out
and help those we can. We reach out with
financial gifts if we are able, we reach out with
the gift of our time or we reach out with a smile
or kind word. We reach out with what we can.

One of the ways I “reach out” is by embodying,
to the best of my ability, the spirit of Christmas
each time I put on the Santa gear. I am Santa Ed
to bring smiles, to ignite imaginations and to
inspire hope. I also do it for me; I feel
like I’m contributing to the joy of the
season, I feel part of a continuing
legacy of love, peace, joy and charity.
